Da questo film sono nati successivamente tutti i reality show come Grande Fratello, l'Isola dei famisi e tutti i format che narrano la vita in diretta dei protagonisti. La storia è paradossale, inverosimile, eppure allo stesso tempo vera. Un bambino tenuto dentro un'immensa bolla che in realtà è uno studio cinematografico. Un intero paese ricostruito attorno a Truman per poter filmare ogni istante della sua vita. Tutto ciò a sua insaputa. Un film delizioso, bizzarro, stravagante, scioccante e sicuramente da vedere !....
